I’ve downloaded the WordPress 19 ISO and uploaded it to my Proxmox box. It shows up under ISO Images, but when I click Create CT it isn’t in the list of templates.

This is just a test site on a spare machine. I was aiming for a container because I already have a couple running there. Do I need a different download, or should I be using Create VM?

Hi Alex. You need a different download for a container. The ISO works with **Create VM** ; **Create CT** needs an LXC template.

On your Proxmox node, open template storage such as **local** , then **CT Templates → Templates**. Search for `wordpress`, select the TurnKey **19.x** entry, and download it. It should then be available in Create CT.

If you only see older releases, run `pveam update` in the **Proxmox host’s shell** , then reopen the list. The [v19 Proxmox release post](https://www.turnkeylinux.org/blog/v19-proxmox-release/) has the steps.

Once the container is running, open its console to finish the initial setup. You can keep the ISO if you decide you’d rather use a VM.
